Week in Review:

Here's what we did this past week:

Chase had his very first soccer game! He was very excited about the whole process of getting dressed up in shin guards, cleats and soccer shorts... but not so much about playing in the game! He lasted for about 10 minutes before he was ready for a snack, and once we convinced him to go back into the game, he collided with another player and got a huge goose egg on his head! So he was pretty much DONE after that! He had another game this morning and did a lot better... but still, with about 5 minutes to go, he decided he didn't want to play anymore. When he's on the field, he does great though!

This is the day before the game... he was so anxious to wear the shin guards and socks, that he wore them around the house like this:

We made another trip to Busch Gardens, this time with our buddies Jackie, Ava, and JJ! SO much fun!!! We love Busch Gardens!

Siena started clapping, dancing, and waving... all in one week! Wish I had some videos or pictures of these feats, but not yet. Here's a cute one of her chewing on an apple... does that count?!

We had a little backyard "pool party" with some friends yesterday... always love that!





And Chase and Siena went to their first concert ever this week: Red Grammer! He is AWESOME if you're ever looking to buy a kids music cd!

Chase had a major accomplishment on Thursday night... something he's been trying to do for a while now: he stayed dry all night, no pull-up!!! And then he repeated the performance last night too! We're so proud of him! Tonight we're going out to celebrate with a trip to the Apple store at the mall to buy a computer game for him (this was the reward we've been promising) and then dinner at California Pizza Kitchen!
