1. At Chase's soccer game, there was a mom on the other team who was literally carrying her son around on the soccer field! She was swinging his body in front of the ball... kind of like we used to do with Chase when he was a baby (see here)! It was CRAZY! He was perfectly capable... he just didn't want to run after the ball, just like many of the other kids (I mean, they're only 3 and 4 years old after all!) I wish I had thought fast enough to get some video on the camera because it would have been a utube sensation for sure!
2. On Sunday we went to Anna Maria Island for the day. The goal was for Eric and I to get in a little open water swim practice before our triathlon next week. But when we got there we quickly realized that wasn't going to happen... the waves were huge! I've never in my life seen waves like that in Florida! Usually it's like bath water... nice and still. The currents were so strong too. We were still able to play around in the water a bit, and overall it was a fun day...
3. Except for when the third crazy thing happened: a sea gull swooped down out of the sky and ate Eric's sandwich right out of his hand! If I was a Brit, I'd say that bird was a cheeky little fellow! Have you ever seen a sea gull do that?? It's not like Eric was holding his sandwich up in the air or anything!
Here are some pics from our day at the beach!
Chase is a little unsure of the water at first:

Siena loved her new sunglasses! Can't believe she kept them on all day!

Okay so the waves don't look so huge in the pictures, but trust me, they were! :)
