Just settling in...

Not much to report this week... we're just settling in our new house! We spent most of last weekend working on the yard. It needed lots of work and we were actually pretty excited about getting out there since it's technically our first yard (I don't think our previous plot of grass, which was the same size as our kitchen rug, counts)! The plants down here in Florida are so different than what we're used to seeing in our parents' yards in Maryland and South Carolina, so we've been driving around trying to scope out other neighbors' yards to see what we like. Finally we just headed to the nursery and started asking about all the different types of plants and we managed to pick some out. Chase enjoyed riding around in his baby bjorn and wearing his new hat! We still have some work to do but maybe I'll get some pictures posted of the results when we're done.
