Electricity is good!
Last night I woke to the sound of our fan going on and off and then back on again... over and over and over! I could also see the back porch light on the house behind us flashing on and off. The power finally went out for good around 5:30am. But the good news is that we got about 12" of snow on the ground! And the power finally came back on just a few minutes ago so I don't think we lost anything in the fridge. The house was starting to get a little frigid though, so I'm glad the outage didn't last much longer! I'm going to post some pictures that we took this morning. The "before" shot is from yesterday afternoon.

Wow! Those pictures are great, but I'm not jealous of the cold weather at all. It was 55 degrees here in Orlando today and they said it will be our coldest day this winter. It was very cold to me. It's weird how used to warm weather you can get and then even when it's a little bit cold, it feels very cold. I hope you get a day or two off work, though. That would be fun for you.
Awesome pics! I love the before because it helps to get a feel for how enormous that storm was! Hope you got lots of sledding, tubing and snowfights in, with cuddling, a fire and hot chocolate after...ahhh...I MISS snowstorms!
