Halloween

I just love Halloween!  I think I like it more than I should.  It's just so much fun to help the kids pick out their costumes, get dressed up, eat dinner with our neighbors, and walk around the streets of our neighborhood!  It's so neat for everyone to be outside, hanging out in their driveways all at once.  But the absolute best part was watching Chase and Siena run up to each door and yell, "Trick or Treat!"  and walk back to me with that surprised look over and over again that says, "Wow, I just got a whole bunch of candy!!"  Or maybe the best part is after they've gone to sleep and I get to pig out on their candy... that's pretty awesome too!  This year Halloween was a little sad for us because Eric was out of town.  It's the first time he's missed one since we've had kids, so that's not too bad.  On Saturday we got all 4 of them dressed up in their costumes so he could see them and take some pictures.  Then on Sunday afternoon he helped Chase and Siena carve pumpkins.

Here is our ladybug (Zoey), Minnie Mouse, Lightning McQueen, and bumblebee (Lyla):

Say "boogers!"

They decided to do one "scary" pumpkin...

and one "happy" pumpkin!

On Halloween day the girls wore their "Trick or Treat" shirts from Mimi:

And Chase and Siena were in their costumes by 3pm... they were SO excited!!
Chase's best friend Mia came over

We ordered pizza and hung out with our neighbors at 5 o'clock.  It was such a beautiful day!  Low 80's!

Can't wait for next year!!

I LOVE how big and excited Chase's eyes are in the last picture. It's pretty much screaming CANDYYYYYY!!!

Cute, cute, cute! love that you dressed the twins similarly, but not the exact same. Adorable idea.
