Full of Thanks!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year!  Eric's family drove all the way down from Maryland to celebrate (and eat!) with us.  I wish I had taken more pictures, but this is all I've got!

Early on Thanksgiving morning, ready for the Turkey Trot in our neighborhood!  (G-ma was at home with the 3 girls!)

Chase ran in the kids fun run for the 2nd year in a row and this year his Aunt Katie ran with him.  He was so into it!  For some reason, he really believes that he won the race, just like last year!  He told everyone, "I crossed the finish line first!" even though he really didn't.  Not sure why he thinks that, but it's so cute!

After a day of cooking, it was time to EAT!  By the way, we're all in our Ravens gear because there was a big game that night.

Chase and Siena were really excited about the chocolate turkey cake from Publix!

yum!!!

This is what our house looked like all weekend: board game central!  The kids loved having so many extra people to play games with them!

The only downside to this past week was that Zoey and Lyla were sick.  Actually all 4 kids have been under the weather.  Eric and I took them to the doctor last Tuesday (all 6 of us in one room waiting for the doctor = crazy!!) and we came home with antibiotics for Chase and a nebulizer for the twins.  They're all feeling much better now.  Lyla and Zoey turned 8 months old last week...

We have so much to be thankful for this year!!!

the girls are adorable...and i think their hair looks kinda reddish in this picture at the end. i am so sorry i haven't written you back yet, shannon. i started an email to you over a week ago and then while i was writing it, the power went off at our house for a few seconds and i lost part of the email (some of it was saved as a draft, but not all)....anyway, i lost steam after that and haven't started to write again. but know i think of you often and i'll be in touch sooner or later. love seeing what you are up to on your blog. but wish i could see you in person!! story has her first tooth by the way....at 3 months!! same as bauer. hugs to you!
