A week at the beach!

We are really keeping it low-key this year in terms of traveling and vacations. A week at St. Augustine Beach (less than 3 hours away) with our families was perfect for us! We got a big house to fit all 17 of us... just steps from the beach and 10 minutes from the old town. The kids LOVED the ocean, miniature golf, playing with their cousins, being spoiled by their grandparents and aunts, and the ice cream!

With a house so close to the beach, we were lucky enough to be able to go out there morning, noon, and night! Most evenings we went out after dinner, and of course, the kids jumped right in! I think after this first night of naked swimming, we put their bathing suits on them the rest of the week!

We played baseball with another large family that had the house in front of us... so fun!

Most of us went sea kayaking one day, something I've always wanted to do! Many thanks to G-ma and Mimi for watching the babies, and to Aunt Katie for taking the older kids to play golf!

Lyla, Ella, and Zoey were born within 6 weeks of each other. It was so neat to see them all together for the first time!

On the way home we made an impromptu stop at Downtown Disney! We took Chase to the Lego Store, which he loved of course! And then we ate at the T-Rex restaurant, which is such a fun place!


We even got to ride a free water taxi... bonus!! We were waiting in line when I grabbed the chance to snap of pic of all 4 of my little ones. It's not easy traveling with this crew but I'm so glad we did!! :)
