We had a fun week... lots of time at the playground, the fountains, the pool, shopping, out to eat at some of our favorite places, and to Chuck E Cheese for a birthday party! Thank goodness Karin was always there to help run after the kids. I'm sure they will really be missing her these next few weeks as I sit on the couch and try to stay pregnant for a little bit longer!
This was our first time going to Chuck E Cheese and Chase LOVED it! He told me, "Mommy, this place is kind of fun!"
At the pool for the first time this year! Chase and Siena are both little fish... they love the water!! Chase picked up right where he left off last fall and was swimming around on his own. Siena thinks she can swim and tries to go under water by herself... should be a fun summer!
Thanks for coming to visit us Aunt Karin (or as Siena called her, "EH!")!!!A little update on the twins: I had my monthly ultrasound last Thursday and everything looked great! Including the fact that Lyla had turned and was no longer breech! I was pretty happy about that since the previous Tuesday, the doctor went ahead and scheduled my c-section for 38 weeks. Hopefully now we can cancel it. However, I'm not entirely certain that she is still head down... it sort of feels like she has turned again, but it's hard to tell. At this point I'm just preparing myself for both options. Whichever way the twins come out, I'll be happy! They estimated that Zoey weighs 4lbs, 6oz and Lyla weighs 4lbs, and they were both doing well! The only bad news is that the doctor wants me to go in TWICE a week for non-stress tests at the hospital! The tests themselves are not hard... I definitely don't mind reading a book or watching tv for 30 minutes, but it's not so easy to find someone to watch the kids every time I go. Hopefully just a few more weeks! :)
