Overwhelming joy!

So, the BIG news around here is that our little family of 4 will soon be a family of 5!!! Yes, I am pregnant with baby Riesenfeld #3! My due date is April 30th, 2011. You could categorize my emotions in so many ways right now: I'm excited, nervous, grateful, overwhelmed, but mostly I am full of joy!!! And exhausted! This time around the fatigue has hit me like a freight train. I'm having the hardest time getting out of bed in the morning, and my mid-day nap is a must! Fortunately Eric has been the best husband in the world and allowed me to sleep in every morning while he gets breakfast for the kids. I can hardly believe that soon "kids" will mean 3 instead of just 2! I'm sure it will be challenging, to say the least, but it's an adventure I look forward to. In case you're doing the math, the age differences are: Chase & Siena: 28 months, Siena & #3: 22 months. So I'm not sure we'll be able to have Siena potty trained before the new baby is born, like we did with Chase. Anyways, we are SO excited!! We've decided to wait until the birth to find out if it's a boy or girl this time... just to add a little excitement into the mix and because we already have lots of blue and pink things. Chase is excited too. He had been telling us that he wanted a new baby, so I kept telling him that he had to ask God to give him a baby brother or sister. When we told him the news, he said, "I asked God last night, in the middle of the night, to give me a new baby and now he did!" And then later on that evening, after we had already tucked him into bed, he came running out of his room 20 minutes later and declared, "I just asked God if the new baby was a boy or a girl, and He said BOY!" :) I guess we'll have to wait and see...
