Chase's 2nd Birthday Weekend!

Wow, it's taken me way too long to get these pictures posted! Chase turned TWO last Sunday and we've been partying for the last week! G-ma and Hansi flew down from Baltimore to celebrate with us and we had a great time. On Saturday, Chase had a bunch of friends over for his "Thomas the Train" party, complete with a moon bounce (courtesy of our very gracious neighbors!), Thomas cake, hot dogs, and dinosaur chicken nuggets! The weather was perfect (in the 70's) so we all hung out in the backyard and watched the kids run around! On Sunday, his actual birthday, we had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. Chase's pancake had another candle to blow out, since he enjoyed doing that so much the day before! Then on Monday we took him to Disney for the first time! The day started out a little rough since I decided to get his hair cut at the barber shop. It's so cute and several friends had recommended it to me since Chase doesn't normally like getting his hair cut. Well, things weren't much different at Disney! He screamed and made a huge scene! Fortunately the haircutting lady was awesome and went ahead and cut his hair and it looks great! Hopefully it will grow very slowly so we don't have to do that again anytime soon! The rest of the day was lots of fun and Chase definitely enjoyed all the rides! Can't believe my little boy is 2 years old now!!! He is so much fun and so full of life!

All better! Time for the tea cups!

Happy Birthday to your son! Looks like he had a lot of fun celebrating. When I take my son for a haircut and they ask me how short I always say, "Short enough so I don't have to come back for 3 months" - ha!
