1. Yesterday I found Chase crawling around on the lanai without his pants on! Not really sure how that happened, but it was really funny! I found the pants under the table.
2. You'll probably hear me say, "I found Chase..." a lot because he loves to roam the house and explore on his own. Everything is pretty much baby-proofed and if a room is unsafe, I just close the door. I always run around checking on him every few minutes and I love to just watch him playing when he can't see me. He's so good at entertaining himself!
3. Chase has just learned how to put together his "Sea Creatures" puzzle that his aunts Karin and Katie gave him for Christmas! Well, he knows where the starfish goes at least!! We're still working on the other creatures!
4. Is there anything more fun than emptying the contents of mom's purse? Chase doesn't seem to think so!
5. Hide and Seek is definitely Chase's favorite game! He loves it when Eric or I hide behind a couch, a door, or even a dog! He likes to "surprise" us and then chase after us! I guess we named him appropriately!
6. Whenever I sing "Baa Baa Black Sheep" to Chase, he sings back... "baa baa!"
7. Our afternoon routine: Chase wakes up from his nap, I give him a snack (usually goldfish, dried fruit bits, puffs, or graham crackers), and then we head outside! Yesterday Chase crawled all the way around our house! But usually he likes to just sit in the front yard and watch the cars and dogs go by.
8. Speaking of dogs, it cracked me up the other day when Chase got a hold of Elvis' leash and tried to put it on his own neck!
9. Chase has just learned how to throw a ball! This is really exciting news for Eric.
10. Chase got his first professional haircut yesterday! I've cut his hair about a dozen times on my own, but he really needed some professional help! We went to Gelee Beans and he did great! He never cried, although he wasn't smiling either. He kind of looked sad, like, "Why are you doing this to me, mom!?" But he looks so handsome and so grown up!

I knew you'd come up with funny things about Chase that make me laugh out loud! I especially liked the "no pants" anecdote. I mean, pants are highly overrated!
I wish so much that we were closer...Chase and Elias would be good friends and LOTS of trouble together. Sounds strangely familiar...
The haircut picture is so funny. If Elias is not screaming while getting his haircut, which usually only happens if we take some sort of audiovisual equipment along, he is quiet and sad. Seems like to us he is mourning the loss of his hair. We always tell him it will grow back, but somehow he is not comforted by this fact.
