Candy corn

All day long I've been thinking about what to write on my blog tonight. I guess I shouldn't really feel like I have to write anything at all, but I've been promising a few people (especially the fam) that I would post a new picture of my big self and I feel like I should write something to go along with it. It seems really strange to have pictures taken of just ME these days but I guess if you think about it, the picture is really of two people... me and little Ries who is still yet to be named. Eric and I have been working hard at trying to come up with some names for our little guy and we have a pretty good list going. I like all of them but I don't absolutely love any of them. I want something just to pop out at me or really inspire me. But I probably have my expectations set too high in that department. I'm sure that I'll really love whatever name we pick because it will be our baby's name and I'll love him and it'll just seem perfect once he's born. Anyways, feel free to send any ideas our way! We're waiting to be inspired. By the way, when we do decide, we'll definitely tell everyone because we're both soooo bad at keeping secrets. So stay tuned. Here are some other things I'm thinking about these days:

-I'm in love with candy corn. I just can't stop eating it! Why does it have to be so good?
-My mind is so preoccupied with Clemson football these days. I keep wondering, are we really going to go 11-1? What if we end up not being ACC champions because we lost to BC in double OT? What if we get to go to a BCS game? That would just be too cool and I think I'll go absolutely crazy because I'm sure we won't be able to go!
-Running is going to get tougher and tougher in the next 18 weeks (holy cow is that all that's left?!). Not only am I gaining weight quickly, which makes my legs ache like never before, it's getting really cold up here and I'm usually less motivated when I have to bundle up! But I'm bound and determined to run the entire 40 weeks, unless my midwife tells me otherwise.
-I think I'm going to keep wearing maternity jeans for the rest of my life. Who knew they'd be so comfortable?! I highly recommend them.

Here's the promised picture, taken at 21 weeks:

Love maternity jeans, too! So sad to have to put those away. Don't tell anyone, but I kept my maternity jean skirt. I couldn't totally give up elastic waists!
