Yesterday was so packed full of fun that we had to use 6 words to describe it: Early Christmas Busch Gardens Family Fun Day!!! It's a long story as to why these 2 events collided, but it made for a busy, smile-filled day. We took our first trip to an amusement park as a family of 6... something that we've been wanting to do all year but have been lacking the courage! It wasn't the easiest thing: our days at home are jam-packed with diaper changes, bottles, baby food, naps, and more diaper changes... so to do all those same things at Busch Gardens while juggling kids on and off rides was daunting. But we survived!! And we had a great time! Chase is already an adrenaline-junkie at age 4: he LOVES fast rides and roller coasters! Every 2 minutes he was asking for the next ride and he didn't want to stop for anything else. Poor kid, he's not quite tall enough to ride many of the coasters, so we let him ride the same one 3 times! For Siena it was all about meeting her favorite Sesame Street characters! She did love the rides too though. Even when she said she was scared, she'd get back on and ride again!

We saw lots of animals too! The tigers were our favorite, of course!!
This picture didn't turn out so well but I just had to get the twins' photo in front of the wooden roller coaster called Gwazi! I will save that story for some other time!

and Big Bird! She was so sweet with the characters... gave them big hugs and even danced with Elmo! Wish I had a picture of her with Elmo but they wouldn't allow personal cameras (they wanted you to buy the print they took for $20... boo)!
After some long naps in the car, we made it back home and did what the babies have been dying to do all month long: open presents!!! They all had the best time ripping into their gifts!
We finished off the day with pizza... is there anything better?! Merry Christmas!!!

I didn't know you blogged! I'm so excited to follow. Your kids are beautiful!! I'd love to get together some day. 3 "little" kids and 5 babies. Fun!!!
