I want to remember...

so many little things that Chase and Siena do everyday. They aren't big enough events to write in their baby books (not that I'm really doing so well with keeping up with those anyway!), so I guess the blog is the right place. I'm not entirely sure these tidbits will be amusing to anyone else, but they represent a time in their lives that I wish I could capture and bottle up forever.

-Siena is obsessed with my hair bands... she goes into my bathroom drawer every day, pulls them all out, and wears them around the house like necklaces. She's also pretty fond of the shiny bead necklaces too.

-Chase came to get me the other day and told me he had to show me something... this happens a lot and could either be really good or really bad. For example, the time he ripped down Siena's curtains off the wall because he was trying to open them for her and left a huge hole. But this particular time I'm thinking of, it was really cute. He said he wanted to show me a picture that he took and it was in his kitchen. On the wall of his play kitchen there is a sticker that looks like a window with a view of a field. He told me, "Mommy, I took this picture for you with my camera. It's from my trip to Die-de-ho!" It took me FOREVER to figure out what he was talking about, and finally I remembered. Eric went on a trip to Idaho a few months ago for work, and even though Chase didn't go, he seems to remember it! :)

-Last time I got off the phone with Eric, Siena took the phone and carried it around the house, singing, "Da-ddy, Da-ddy, Da-ddy!" I think she misses him! If fact I know Chase does too...

-A few days ago we went on a walk on one of the longer trails in our neighborhood. Chase rode his orange bike, Siena was in the BOB, and Berk and I were jogging to keep up with Chase. But every once in a while he would stop and pick some flowers. I asked him what he was going to do with them and he said, "These flowers are for you and Daddy because I love you guys!"
