Happy Halloween!!

At the pumpkin patch... the pickings were a little slim because we went the week of Halloween. But it was the best we could do since we've been out of town!

Chase didn't seem to notice that they only had "ugly" pumpkins left!

Chase's "costume party... just like in my Curious George book!" This is one thing I'm pretty bummed about him missing out on since he's not in preschool this year... the holiday parties, etc. (otherwise I've been happy with the decision)! So we had a couple of friends over for a costume play date (complete with homemade "Halloween" cookies) and he loved it! This was his first time wearing his blue crayon costume in public and he celebrated with some pretty wild poses!!

On Halloween afternoon, some of Siena's buddies and their families came over for an early dinner...
Elmo, the lady bug, and princess aren't sure what to make of Chase at this point because he pitched a fit about wearing his costume and preferred to sport a bucket on his head!

When it was time for trick-or-treating, he was glad to put his costume on! :)

Siena and her friend Hanna rode in style!

and Chase helped too!
Pretty soon she got tired of the wagon and wanted to run down the middle of the street! I guess Halloween is the one day a year when you can get away with it!

She met another little lady bug in the road!

I LOVED trick or treating this year because Chase was so into it! He ran from house to house as fast as he could, and he was so excited about every little piece of candy he got!

This is my favorite picture of the night! I should have a caption-writing contest for this one!

Chase got really into handing candy out to the other kids too. Every time we opened the door, though, Siena ran right out! I must have chased her down the street a dozen times!

Happy Halloween!
