Nap Time!

Usually Chase is a very unusual 3 year old: he'll tell you straight out, "Mommy, I'm tired... I'm ready for my nap!" The kid loves to sleep. And some days he'll say he isn't really tired and that's just fine with me... he still goes into his room for "rest time" and plays from about 1 to 3pm. He really loves this time and his room ends up a complete disaster, but oh well. On Tuesday this week, though, he was being a little stubborn: he didn't want to nap and I could totally tell that he needed one. It had been 3 days since he had one and he was overly sensitive, crying at every little thing all morning. So I kept going back to his room and making him get back into bed instead of playing. He wasn't at all happy about this and at one point he ran into his bathroom, slammed the door and locked it! I decided to let him cool off and checked back in on him after about 10 minutes. This is what I found:

He slept for over an hour this way! :)
