A Week in Hilton Head!

Last week was so much fun! Eric's mom (G-ma) won a raffle prize for a free week at a rental house in Sea Pines resort on Hilton Head island! The house was AMAZING and it was in a perfect location: just a block from the beach, with 2 ponds on either side, and within easy biking distance to Harbour Town and the Salty Dog Cafe! We had the best time with G-ma, Hansi, Aunts Karin, Katie, and Ro, Mimi and Papa (who drove over from Charleston), and our friend Ashley. Our week was filled with laughter, lots of food, and some good competition as we participated in our very own "Beach Olympics!" Events included ultimate frisbee, polish golf, bocce ball, Phase 10, Trivial Pursuit, and karaoke. Eric and I particularly enjoyed having the grandparents and aunts around to help love and play with the kids! I got to sleep in, read a book, go running on the beach, and sit in the hot tub with a strawberry daiquiri! :) I also drove up to Charleston one night with Karin to see Amanda walk the runway for her 3rd year in Charleston Fashion Week (and to chat with Jessica during the show)! I think we were all really sad to pack up our bags and leave the beach house yesterday morning. Chase shed real tears... he really didn't want to go! We could have easily stayed for another week!!
