On Chase's 3rd birthday, we made one of his favorite meals for dinner: schinkenfleckerl (an Austrian dish that is a staple of any Riesenfeld's diet... basically just ham, egg noodles and cheese) and broccoli. I asked Chase what we should put his birthday candle in since he doesn't like cake and he already had a cookie cake at his party (and we were still eating leftovers)! He responded, "bread!" This kid loves bread. So we put a candle in the bread and sang Happy Birthday!
As a side note, Chase doesn't like butter with his bread. He prefers to dip it in "boil!" "Olive boil", that is.
We just started putting Siena in the "big tub" with her brother! She seems so grown up!
And here she is with her best friend Berkeley! Now that she's crawling, they seriously follow each other around the house! She just laughs and laughs at him!
