I'm not sure how it happened, but somehow the artistic gene skipped me and went straight to both of my talented younger sisters! I've mentioned
Jessica before, but Amanda is pretty amazing too. She attends SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) and is double majoring in photography and fashion marketing and management. In her free time, she also models for some print ads (she's been featured in Charleston Magazine) and likes to do runway shows. Fortunately, Charleston and Savannah both have active fashion communities and a "fashion week" every year. I missed it last year, but this time I decided to drive up so I could see her "walk!" It was so much fun! I really couldn't believe how professional she was!

The other great thing about going to Charleston Fashion Week was getting to see my good friend Kristin! Here we are on the red carpet. I'm not sure if we were supposed to be on there on not, but we figured that if we looked like models, no one would care!
My dad did a good job looking like a model too! Here is his "blue steel" look!
Other reasons why I enjoyed my time in Charleston? Seeing Chase play with his cousins:
Seeing my papa from Texas! And eating my mom's chocolate cake!! YUM!
