Sorry, no pictures!

Chase and I have had a busy time these last 2 weeks... spent some time in Charleston with the family and then Eric's sisters came to visit us here in Tampa! Chase made second trips to the beach and the pool, but unfortunately I don't have any pictures to share. Turns out that my camera ended up in Baltimore after I left it in Eric's sisters' bag at the beach! Oops! So you'll just have to take my word for it that he was happy and cute! ;)

At 4 months, Chase has now been on 6 airplanes!! We weren't as lucky as on our last trip when we had an actual seat for him. I had to hold him the whole time but he was actually really good. He's much more active now than before and even though he can't even sit up by himself, he acts like he wants to jump down out of my arms and start running all over the place! And everything within arm reach ends up in his tight grip, and then in his mouth! Fortunately he was really happy during both plane rides and so friendly with the people around us. It's kind of nice flying with a (happy) baby because you end up meeting so many more people than usual. Everyone wanted to comment on how good he was (of course, they usually wait until the end of the flight to say anything)! On our flight from Atlanta to Charleston, we sat next to a retired couple who was flying to visit their daughter. I had the best time talking to them because they were just so full of life! The lady kept saying cute stuff like, "Boy, this handbag sure is handy!" and "This water is wonderful!" (referring to the bottled water brought by the flight attendant)! And when Chase fell asleep in my arms she pondered out loud, "I wonder what he's dreaming about? Maybe bunny rabbits and lambs!" It was a fun flight!

On our way back to Florida, we had another layover in Atlanta, but I didn't mind so much because my sweet friend Melissa drove through rush hour traffic to meet us for dinner!! It was so nice to see her and just spend that quick hour talking as fast as we could to catch up on each others lives! It makes me really miss my Clemson friends. :(

Anyways, we're back at home now and settling back into our routine. I'll see if I can get a hold of my pictures and post some as soon as possible!

I got tickled reading your post about Chase and airplanes- Tallon managed to accumulate a ton of airline miles when we lived in Dallas his 1st yr of life!! ( The grandparents had a hard time going more than 6 weeks without seeing him so they brought us home often which was nice=) I remember catching people's looks of "please dont put me next to the lady with the baby" and than at the end of the flight giggling as they gave tons of comments of how good he was! We were also blessed with a good little traveler!!!!! looking forward to seeing more pics when you get your camera back!
