Moving

This was the post I wrote and was going to post before we moved... but I never got too because we lost internet.

I can't even count the number of times I've moved in my life... I think I've lived in more houses than I can even remember! Still, no matter how many times I move, it always gets to me. Eric says that I get too emotionally attached to each house, and he's right! As much as I want to move and have looked forward to it, I'm still sad. We only have 1 day left in our current house and then we hit the road! I'll miss this house. It was our first big purchase as a couple and we have lots of memories here, even though it's only been 2.5 years. It's where...
-I spent the first few months on my own as Eric traveled around the country unexpectedly,
-I brought home Berkeley from the airport and didn't have a clue what to do with him as he pooped and peed all over the place,
-We had a New Years Eve party, a Super Bowl party, a Crab Feast, Christmas Party, made Easter dinner for everyone, and had lots of cookouts on the back porch,
-Elvis fell down the stairs the second night we had him and had to walk around in a cast,
-I took my first pregnancy test... and a second one when I didn't believe the results,
-I planted flowers and Eric mowed the grass. Our yard is only about 30 square feet, but we loved making it look good,
-Katie lived with us and we had so much fun staying up late playing Karaoke Revolution or making new characters on the Tiger Woods golf game,
-We had to install a new kitchen floor and get new carpet because Elvis ate the old stuff,
-We fixed a roof leak, a busted pipe, a broken heater, and the garbage disposal switch... we made so many trips to Lowe's!
-We welcomed Chase into our home and were surrounded by family and friends. That's what I'll miss the most.
