My babies are 6 months old today, can you believe it?! They are sweet and smiley, cuddly, giggly, and oh-so-cute! I could spend all day holding each of them. Zoey is really into sucking her thumb and grabbing her feet. Lyla likes to grab your face and blow raspberries. They both roll over to their bellies as soon as you lay them down (and they sleep that way too)! They are scooting around the floor and making me wonder what it's going to be like when they're all-out crawling! I just plain love these 2 girls and can't imagine life without them.
I feel like I'm finally in a good place these days. I've figured out our routine and we have a schedule that works for us. Chase and Siena know what to expect every day, and Zoey and Lyla are easy and content as long as we're home for their naps! That means that we don't get out as often as we used to, but I know it's just a short period in our life right now and that it won't last forever. We have our regular playgroups and our friends who come over to visit and for now that's good enough for us! We're living simply. Things are definitely not perfect: I could definitely use a live-in nanny, a maid (there is currently peanut butter all over our lanai door), a personal shopper, and a dog walker (can't remember the last time poor Berkeley went for a walk)! But the kids are happy and I'm happy. I'll be even happier when Eric gets back home on Sunday though! :)
