Action-packed!

This last week or so has been action-packed! Eric's been on a 10 day trip to Prague and DC... and when he's out of town I prefer to stay as busy as possible! Among other things, we've been strawberry pickin', going to the pool, playing in the fountains at Park Square, and trying out Chase's new bike!

We are so lucky to live just down the street from the strawberry capital of the world... Plant City! Most of the winter strawberries in the US come from Plant City (check out your strawberry box next time you buy them at the grocery store!) and we took full advantage of the local farms this year.

All of these strawberries only cost $1!!!

The pool, and the playground next to it, is where we spend a large portion of our time during the summer (is it still April?? because it already feels like July!)...
Siena's hanging out with some of her pals:

Chase is trying out the "waterfall pool":

And Siena went in for the first time as well! She is just like her brother... LOVES the water!

Fortunately (or unfortunately!) many of my friends here have husbands who are either deployed, out of town frequently, or work really late... so it's nice to get together with them for dinner or on the weekends. We recently instituted "wine night" at Park Square: pick up Happy Meals from McDonalds (or "Old McDonalds" as Chase calls it!), grab a glass of wine, and let the kids get crazy in the fountains!

This particular night we picked up dinner from Panera Bread, because we had just done the Happy Meal thing the night before... and tonight we're going back, so we're planning on getting Chick-fil-a instead! Yeah... we don't eat too well when daddy's out of town!!

Siena often gets "stickered" by Chase.
Exhibit A:

I know I'm biased, but I think she's getting more and more beautiful every day!

This is one of my favorite things... walking into the playroom and finding them both in their own little worlds! Siena is loving the kitchen lately!

And she doesn't mind being pulled around in the Mega Blocks wagon either! (that's Mia on the left side)
And finally, here is Chase's new bike!! I'm pretty proud of this find... it's a Trek bike, which usually sells for $200 at our local bike shop! Eric has a Trek road bike, which is the same brand that Lance Armstrong rides, so we know they make great quality bikes. I found it on craigslist for $30, including a brand new helmet! Of course, Chase doesn't care about the brand name, but he is over the moon with his "real bike, with pedals, like mommy and daddy!"

i don't think it's just cuz your biased...everytime I see a new picture of Siena, I think, if it's at all possible, she looks even cuter than she did in the last set!!
