7 years ago today Eric and I were walking down the aisle and partying with our friends and family! Can't believe it's been that long! Feels like just yesterday...
Our house is quiet today after lots of visitors over the last week or so. Eric's sister and parents were in town, along with short visits from my mom, niece, my sister, her friend... and then my uncle and cousin also stopped by yesterday! Plus Eric went back to work today after 5 weeks of paternity leave, so this is my first try at staying home alone with 2 kids in the house! So far, so good! They're both sleeping at the same time this afternoon, so that helps!
Siena is getting SO big and I can hardly believe it! She's outgrowing outfits already and is moving on up in diaper sizes! I'm absolutely amazed at how well she sleeps at night (looking for some wood to knock on as I write this!). She'll sleep anywhere from 4-5 hours at a time, so I usually only have to get up once a night, sometimes twice, but never more! This is so different from how Chase slept... waking every 2-3 hours up until he was 8 months old!! What a relief. One thing we discovered while G-ma and Hansi were here is that she LOVES laying on the floor! A friend of G-ma's made a beautiful quilt for Siena and we call it the "magic blanket" because every time you lay her on it, she's so happy! She just kicks and kicks. Siena's a mover like Chase was for sure. She's starting to smile some and it's so sweet. Can't wait for what else she has in store for us!
I've got some great videos to post of Chase, but I'll have to wait for another day because the kids are waking up!!
