Waiting for Siena Ashlynn...

Well, I officially made it to 37 weeks (woo hoo!), so now there's nothing to do but wait for Chase's baby sister to make her debut! In case you haven't heard, her name is Siena. Yes, it was kind of inspired by our trip to Italy... but not because it was somewhere that we visited, although we'd like to someday! Her middle name is Ashlynn, which is partly from my middle name (Ashleigh) and my mom's middle name (Lynn). Lynn is also part of my grandmother and 3 of my aunts' names!

Chase is really excited to meet Siena and he asks me everyday, "Baby out?" He's really surprised us with how much he wants to help get her room ready! I thought he might be hesitant about giving up his crib (which was a toddler bed when it was in his room), his changing table, and his rocker... but he didn't seem to mind at all! It probably helped that he got a brand new "really big bed!" and other new (well, used) furniture! Here's a small picture of what Siena's room looks like... although it's not quite finished yet. I'll have to post a picture of Chase's new room too.... sometime soon. The Siena collage that Chase is holding contains pictures of things that I saw while I was pregnant with her.... mostly scenes in Italy. Chase has one in his room too, and his has pictures of San Diego, and Edisto, Jekyll, and Amelia Islands... also places that I visited while pregnant with him.

Chase loves to feel the baby moving... but he's not as crazy about giving her kisses. We managed to get one quick picture though!
