The reason I'm writing
Is to say my dad's the best.
He'll jump any hurdle,
He'll pass any test.
My blue Smurf swingset
He put together with ease.
He can grill the best hamburgers,
He tops them with cheese!
He taught me to throw
And he taught me to run
He encouraged me to win
But he made sure I had fun.
Late nights doing homework,
He was always there.
He drove me to school
And even brushed my hair!
My dad is the best
It's so clear to see.
Without him in my life,
I wouldn't be me!
